Here's a super simple tutorial for doll bedding that can be resized for any doll.
For a bed, just turn over the sturdy bottom part of an American Girl doll box. Don't have an AG? No worries, you can use any cardboard box, or even stack up some books.
This tutorial can be done by handsewing, but I'm using a sewing machine.

Now let's get on with that bedding! If you are using cottons, like I am, you'll probably want padding. I like using cut-of-the-yard felt, but fleece works just as well. Skip the padding if you are using fleece or minky.
Using your bed as a guide, cut your padding (or your fabric) to the size you want your bedding to be, taking into account that you will be folding back the top.
Pin the right sides of the fabrics together with the padding on one side. Sew all around the edges, leaving a small opening.
Turn the right sides out. fold in the raw edges of the opening, pin, and sew staright across.
Here is my finished bedding.
Doll pillows are really easy to make. Just cut two rectangles of fabric the same size.Pin the right sides together and sew all around, leaving an opening.
Turn it right side out. You can see how clipping the corners makes the corner sharper.
Stuff it with fiberfill stuffing, or fabric scraps, or even mateless socks. Pin and sew up the opening like before.
Put it all together in your doll room, and you're ready to play.
Have fun putting your own twist on this very simple craft!
